My wife wanted a cottage garden oasis for retirement. We contacted Ted Lare and they sent Jeff out. He was prompt, accessible, and listened to what she was thinking. The design he came back with was over the top amazing. It was a long summer with all the rain, but to see how happy she is sitting in her little slice of paradise with our two dogs this fall, makes it so worth it. Thanks so much Jeff.

When my husband and I moved to Iowa from Florida, we were used to having beautifully landscaped yards—something our new home was missing. We considered doing the work ourselves, but we quickly realized we weren’t familiar with the local soil, plants, or climate. After visiting several garden shops, we found Ted Lare, and we were thoroughly impressed from the start. They sent a specialist to our home to understand our vision, and the detailed plans and options she presented were exceptionally helpful. From there, we worked together to create exactly what we wanted—and all within our budget. When landscaping day arrived, we were amazed. The team’s expertise, work ethic, and equipment completely transformed our front yard, giving us the curb appeal we had hoped for. They truly exceeded our expectations! A few months later, we decided to add some fall colors to our landscape—something we had never experienced in Florida. Our wonderful specialist, Amber, returned and designed a custom plan that brought stunning autumn beauty to our yard. The results were absolutely incredible! I can’t say enough great things about Ted Lare. They are knowledgeable, professional, reliable, and reasonab

Ted Lare is the BEST plant store/garden center in all of the land! 🪴 It’s my go-to for everything plant related. The staff has saved my plants on more than one occasion plus they are the most friendly people on the planet. Pro tip: if you just need to take a breather from the world, go walk through their outdoor garden = instant calm & soul soothing 😌 💞
